Become a
Family Partner

Give the nourishing gift of community
by joining our Family Partners Program.

As a Ceres Community Project Family Partner, you help your friends and neighbors suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses get the nourishing food and loving attention they need to get well. And you give the young people here in our community the skills, knowledge and inspiration to lead healthier lives.

Please stretch and make the biggest donation you can afford. With your help, we can create a healthier future. Remember, just $500 provides an entire family with three months of free meals!

As a Family Partner, you’ll receive our monthly e-newsletter updating you about the difference you are making as part of the Ceres Community Project family.

Community Smart Card

Getting and using a Community Smart Card is a simple and easy way to support our work. The card is accepted by many Sonoma County merchants, including Oliver’s Markets, Andy’s Produce and Pacific Markets. (See their website for other participating merchants and to find out if the Smart Card program is available in your community.) Just swipe the card at the register and a percent of your purchase will automatically be donated to Ceres.

Go to www.communitysmart.com to order a card (you will need to select The Ceres Community Project as the organization your donations will go to), or email info@ceresproject.com and we will mail you one already set up for The Ceres Community Project.

Tribute Gifts

Rather than gifts at a birthday or anniversary, or flowers at a memorial, ask friends and family to send donations to The Ceres Community Project. If you let us know ahead of time, we can send you a list of the donations that were made along with mailing thank you cards to all who donated. For more information, email info@ceresproject.org.

Planned Giving

Consider naming The Ceres Community Project in your will. We can accept financial gifts as well as gifts of stocks, bonds or real property. For more information, email info@ceresproject.org.

Ceres Client Debora Hammond

“Not only did the weekly food deliveries help me to maintain a healthy diet, especially since I had so little energy for preparing food; I felt like I was being held in the nurturing embrace of the larger community. Cancer can be isolating, and the brief (and sometimes extended) visits with the people who delivered the food were as nourishing on an emotional and spiritual level as the food. I am so grateful to all of the community members who make this project possible. Thank you!!!”
